Alexander Wang
Whilst attending Parsons The New School For Design, Alexander Wang interned for Derek Lam, Marc Jacobs, Vogue, and Teen Vogue Magazine.
Wow.
He is so lucky. Talented and lucky. What I would do to intern at VOGUE!.... What I would do to intern at MARC JACOBS! I know that back in the day, at 14 years old, Nicolas Ghesquiere interned at fashion house agnes b., but it seams as though now you must be in college. Does anyone know the details about internships? I am so naive when it comes to that, and I would really like to know more about them. Is there any way, today, a 14 year old could be a part of any brand? No salary or anything.

the right connections?
lol I have no idea...all I know is that Anna Wintour's father was already in publishing...and she didn't even go to college...but that was like back in the day when internet didn't exist.
you could ask your counselor...do volunteer time or something
Yeah, I know! Anna dropped out at 16, which is like inspiring for me! Haha. Of course I'm not dropping out of school, but I don't do that well in school (I do Ok. Like A's, B's, and one or two C's - but I don't do that well), but I still consider myself an intelligent person. There are kids in my grade who are geniuses at math, but they can barely speak English. Literally - and they're not immigrants or anything. Haha.
Yeah, I'm gonna try. I would love to just be in that atmosphere, even if it means cleaning up people's lunches and throwing them in the trash for no pay - whatever it takes to get my foot in the door.
lol like what ugly betty and marc do? hahaha
I don't mean to digress, but I have noticed something. Has anyone else noticed that Alexander Wang and Givenchy usually have something similar in their collections? Last season it was denim and leather, this time it's fur that looks like human hair and sheer fabric on the shoulders.
That is true... :S
