Chicago…Do You think About Me Now and Then? ‘Cause I’m Coming Home Again.
I love this editorial. It was shot on Wacker Drive! Wacker is sort of like the Park Avenue of Chi-city.
I just think this is so exciting because I’ve been on all these spots and had the same feeling of awe at the marvelous architecture of this city.
Plus, these are the streets where Batman flies (this city is the inspiration for Gotham City and the recent Batman films were actually shot here). I also remember skipping school and taking the two hour train to see Jennifer Aniston and Vince Vaughn film The Breakup (I did not get to see them, just the film crew…but hey, I got to try on Manolos at Neiman Marcus instead.)
I wish they’d do more photo shoots here rather than New York. The architecture of this city is just so diverse and divine…and look at how well they compliment the high fashion!

And here are some of my own photos, taken by yours truly. Low and behold the genius of my photography:
Just some of the buildings at Wacker Dr.
The Chicago Tribune Tower is at the center. Doesn’t it just look like a building that you can see Batman or Superman fly circles around?
The Hancock and the Navy Pier Ferris Wheel in the foreground.
The green jewelers building. Notice the gold on top.
The bee-hive Marina. I’ve been with a guy who lives in one of those apartments and I have to say, aside from the view, not the most luxurious of places to live in. Of course, the House of Blues is just downstairs.
I love this city.
Now don’t you feel like Ferris Bueller?
