Coco by Jean Paul Gaultier

I love this editorial. Anyone else notice that it has been a while since we’ve seen Coco Rocha in print? And it is no surprise that she makes an appearance in the new issue of Les Echos whilst shot and styled by Jean Paul Gaultier. Although Gaultier choosing her is not as much as of a surprise, seeing as how Coco is his muse of the moment.

Jean Paul Gaultier uses Margiela and Dior to style Coco into his fashion house’s aesthetic.

I think this makes a lot of sense. I believe that the 90’s look of Alaia and Gaultier are coming back into fashion in a big way, and this was most prevalent in the Dior Spring 2009 fashion show.

It only makes sense that JPG uses Dior and Margiela pieces…Margiela having worked under his wing in the olden days.
