I know I do, but I don't care.
Sometimes you just feel something. Fashion isn't timeless, but that doesn't mean you can't take inspiration from the past. A majority of the Fall 2009 shows are inspired from editorials and collections from 23 years ago - that doesn't mean they're 'so 46 seasons ago'. Sometimes old can be new. Yes, this dress is from a few seasons back, but it represents an idea, a moment in fashion, a memory - that will never die. I don't know if I'd say that Prada is one of my top favorite labels, but I have a huge amount of respect and admiration towards Miuccia's design style, and as we all know by now "...style is eternal".

yeah...everyone digs through the archives these days...Paris Hilton in Versace Spring 2003 for the Grammys, Katie Holmes in old Larcroix during a Valkqyrie premieres in South America...The list goes on

and I love the outfit! I used to be so hungry for rare items, but these days, I am finding so much joy in marveling at people's creativity with stardesign and minishop items (which is something I have no skill at)...and it is turning out, sentimental value is worth so much more than an RC item to me now...

and love the outfit, anna would be so mad you wore the same thing she did

and emily....that is all...

I know what you mean, Kasia. I love delving into the closet and wearing "old" clothes. After all, that's what they were made for.

I love my Fall 2007 Pucci dress (from the Twiggy doll) :)

Creativity & Style comes out when wearing clothes from the past with a modern twist. Besides, you don't have to wear "season" clothes just because everybody else does.
