This is why I am not too fond of DKNY.
Donna Karan is just a weird designer to me. She is either hit or miss. She is never consistent. One year she gets it right, and then the next season, it’s like “what happened?”
In the Fall 2009 ads above, she photoshops the head of Toni Garrn into the bodies of Anya Kazakova and Sasha Pivs. What, Anya and Sasha are not beautiful enough for her?
Yeah it saves money. But why paste over their heads?

Her Gold collection is always very classic and nice. Never anything unexpected but still...
Maybe Donna is under some sort of contract, where she has to have Toni in the ad or something. Otherwise that's just a little stupid and wierd.
The reason I don't like DKNY is because it just isn't my style.
You should've added some Oh-no-you-didn't short videos, those ads totally deserve it. lol
Be that as it may (Donna Karan being a scrooge), I love her dresses this season though. That classic origami 2 piece on Raquel and the gray dress is tres chic.
