Good News For Gucci

Gucci is easily the most critically slammed and commercially appealing luxury house. Frida Giannini has been said to have no direction for her brand, and just insists on making boring little dresses and skinny pants (that one could easily purchase at Target or H&M) because she knows that's what'll sell to those young 'hipsters.'

Delivering groundbreaking and incredibly conceptual looks such as these every season...

However, it seems that Frida has finally stepped up her game this season, earning for the first time, excellent reviews.

Hilary Alexander of the Daily Telegraph praised the collection, and Sarah Mower from Style.com has called it "The best Giannini has done yet."

Do you agree?

I know. I love wearable clothes, I love simple clothes. I just think Frida has absolutely nothing to say, so she just focuses on making money by creating skimpy dresses, leather jackets, and skinny pants, because that's what all the kids wear on lookbook.nu these days - attach a Gucci tag to those clothes and you've earned yourself millions.

Just my personal opinion. I think her most recent show is definitely a lot better - but, I still don't like it.
