NYC Fashion Week S/S 2010 Day 2 Part 2

Rag and Bone, Erin Wasson, Graham Greene, Charlotte Ronson, 3.1 Philip Lim Menswear, Robert Geller, William Rast, Ralph Lauren Men, Costello Taglipierta, Cynthia Rowely and Nicole Miller.

Rag & Bone
I always like what they do. There isn’t always that much color, but that is expected from them. They have very basic items that will probably remain in the closet for a long time.
Lots of recognizable faces. Freja’s hair was noticeably longer, Alla looking very intense with her bleached eyebrows, Magdalena looking skinnier than usual, Iris looking disgruntled with her hair in the growing out phase (she really needs to fix that), Kinga looking very awkward and “dikey”—for the lack of a better term, Lily D and Sasha Pivovarova.
As for the boys, there was V Man winners Petey Wright and AJ Abualrub, fall 2010 Gucci boys Gerhard, Matvey and Christian Brylle, the Marc Jacobs boy Yuri, the Kenzo guy Marcel Castenmiller and veteran French hottie Vincent Laroque.

There were also lots of recognizable faces at this show. I guess they might be old friends of model-turned-designer-turned actress, Erin Wasson.
But that really didn’t matter. Freja, Lily, Eniko, Irina, and Chanel and pretty much all the models were made to look like they had dirty faces (and not in a chic way) with the abuse of bronzer. And the clothes were…let’s just say I do not want.
But wow, check out Freja’s abs.

Graham Greene
This guy has been doing his thing since 2003 and he doesn’t really get that much recognition. Yet I certainly paid particular attention to this beautiful collection.
Expect him in an upcoming Vogue: And the day before that he was photographed for Vogue with Sasha Pivovarova. "To see your favorite model in your clothes is a dream come true," he said at the end of the hectic week, still walking on air.

Charlotte Ronson
I can see my dancer friends liking and wearing this collection (if they could afford them).

3.1 Phillip Lim Menswear
I really like what Phillip Lim is doing with Menswear. Like it’s not boring but it’s not too over the top. I particularly love the last look with the shirt that looks like tan leather.
In this show are Tyler Riggs (who, like always, is everywhere already), Simon Nessman, Mikus Lasmanis, Matvey and possibley Lenz.

Robert Geller
I spot Christian Brylle, Gerhard, Tyler Riggs, Vincent L, Matvey, Reid, Nick Snider and Lenz.

William Rast
