A Model Story
Supposedly, Kate Moss is writing a novel with Louise Wener about a young model's journey from becoming a typical girl - to an international icon. I really hope this is true. A Model Summer by Paulina Porizkova is such an amazing book. I don't read a lot of novels, but I wanted to check out this book, so I bought it. It arrived last month and I was addicted to it. I finished it in two weeks, and every night when I read it, it was just so exciting. The book was incredible, I wish there was a sequel to it. It was funny at times, and very sad at other times - it really is one of those stories that makes you laugh and cry. The book is about (POSSIBLE SPOILER ALERT!) Jirina - a gawky teen from Sweden who is invited to live in Paris for the summer to give modeling a try. Through her journey, this teen - smart, but at 15, still naive - gets caught up in the hip 1980's European fashion scene. This girl goes from a nobody, to a somebody - but was it really worth it? Was it worth giving up your innocence? Selling your sexuality for a campaign? You read about all of the people she meets, the mistakes she makes, and the pain she goes through. So, hopefully, Kate Moss' book (if this rumor is true) will be just as good. The book is so good. Click here to buy it!

I stumbled upon this while researching Paulina...I'll post what a I mean tomorrow b/c it is in a video.
but i am really tempted to read this now:-)
Oh and as opposed to Paulina, who I believe actually sat down to write this book, I think Kate will just tell the ghost writer stories and he is the one who will turn it into a novel. I think Kate has a schedule packed with partying.
You really should! I mean, it wasn't what I expected. There are some pretty racy scenes in the book, so be prepared. I need someone to talk to about this book though, so get it and read it quickly! Haha. This won't spoil anything, it's just funny because in the book she buys a black military jacket at a flea market and everyone compliments it - and in my mind, it was Balmain. Haha
Yeah, still though, I would really like to read it.
they are just for fun
these kind of books are my guilty pleasure...I used to enjoy Angus Thongs and Full Frontal Snogging...
