Unlce Karl Said It First

Remember what Uncle Karl said about floral prints?

I couldn’t help but curse him.  He is partially correct.

I couldn’t help but post this.

Academy Award Winner, and geriatric funny lady, Cloris Leachman, launches a clothing line.  Cleverly dubbed Clorisline, it includes a selection of "vibrant florals" with a dash of "safari sophistication."

And while we are on the subject of florals…

So…do you guys still love floral prints?

The fact that middle aged women with weight problems wear floral prints doesnt mean that it's only for them!
It was so damn awsome in Balenciaga.

Well, it is just a stereo type that has been going on for a while...mean or not...but when animators think of drawing big women, they think of floral prints.

Anyways, it is just for good humoured funny... I am sure Cloris would be the first one to laugh if she saw this.

I gotta stick by my florals because I actually just bought a floral dress yesterday! I can't give up on it now, haha. :)
Florals can go either way though, it really depends, I think.

I know. I just can't help but to feel bad though. Karl shouldn't dictate. If someone likes floral prints than they should be aloud to wear them. You know, not everyone can afford Balenciaga, and if a little flower-printed dress makes a woman feel pretty and feminine than let her be, there's no reason to mock her. As much as I love high-fashion, I cannot stand snobbery.

I really think that the personality of a designer can tell a lot about them but I do not think it would ever effect the way I would think about their collection.
