“Belt: Todd Oldham, Vintage”

Just to spite anonymous, for her/his distaste on anything old, I put together a retrospective of vintage 90’s fashion via Todd Oldham.

   

Backstage at the show was Chloe Sevigny, my other style icon (I love her, but what was up with her face? Oh well, it is still a comfort to know that in any period of time, she is always in the know with fashion), along with Julia Roberts and Susan Sarandon (I loved Stepmom!) in the front row.

I know all you young girls love your Lilys, Sashas, Jourdans, Gemmas and Coco’s, but I still believe that the Supers are incomparable.

I love hearing Tutu talk!

1995 Fall Winter. Wow, Todd Oldham belts are the bomb! This show includes Tyra, Cindy and Elle.

And backstage, via MTV’s House of style.  Todd has not aged.  He reminds me of Nicolas Ghesquiere somehow. Young Tyra getting her make up done at around 1:30.

Bravo apparently is a time machine to 90’s fashion. Insurmountable evidence includes 90’s wonder boys Todd Oldham, Isaac Mizrahi and Michael Kors serving as judges for their popular shows..

Either that, or Bravo executives are well connected with the most talented Jewish fashion designers.

Another weird fact is that Isaac and Todd were both born on 1961 (although I could swear that Todd is much younger) while Michael Kors was born on 1959.

Either way I love them! They are like the perfect best friend material in the area of their impeccable sense for fashion and hilarious remarks!
