How Fashion Shows Have Changed
CHANEL was THE show everyone awaited for back in the 90's...the girl's had so much energy, personality, and attitude NOT like today's shows where the girl's just walk up and down without any expression on their face and no attitude in the walk. The Spring/Summer 1995 RTW CHANEL specially stands out as the shoes were CRAZY dragqueen-ish, the collection was fun and campy, the girl's not only looked amazing but they were just giving it!!!! Kristen Mcmenamy, Linda Evangelista, Yasmeen Gaury, Naomi Campbell, Brandi Quinones, Carla Bruni, Nadege, Shalom Harlow, Eva Herzigova, Patricia Velasquez, Claudia Schiffer, Trish Goff, Karen Mulder, Nadja Auermann, Debbie Dietering, Kirsty Hume and a WHOLE slew of others.
I SORTA agree. Sorta.
There are still a handful of models now who have a distinctive personality in their runway walks. Off the top of my head, girls like Mariacarla, Karlie, Natasha, Aggyness, Irina(that’s all I’ve got under such sort notice).
Can you name any other distinct models who can rival the 90’s supers?
And this does not include Victoria Secret models because half of those girls just copy Tyra (Adriana, I’m looking at you).
So yeah, which current models rival the supers?

I think there are a lot of girls with attitude, it just depends on if the designers let them show theirs. John Galliano lets his girls have attitude, watch his Fall 2007 show. :) Anna Sui and Sonia Rykiel also encourage their girls to smile and have fun on the runway.
Karl was so much cooler then. He's a cartoon character now - he tries so hard to be young and hip instead of just being real.
Once again, go Rocha!
