I mean, congratulations to her! But, oh my god! And for Vogue to just publish this article as if we were supposed to have already known. I can't say goodbye to her, I just can't, I love Jourdan. She's only 18!! Yasmin Lebon gave birth to her daughter and returned to the runway in just weeks (and now she'll be a judge on ANTM next year, but that's beside the point). And, Liya Kebede gave birth to her son when she was 20 or 21. So, she could keep modeling, but she's just so young.
Well, I know this won't be popular, but whatever. I have seen her in interviews and I am so glad. She will make a fabulous mother and I am so pleased for her, she was just too bright, intelligent and nice to be a model! As much as I adore the fashion industry and hope one day to be apart of it, I feel it would destroy her, and turn her into something not very nice, as it has done to so many before her.
That will be a good looking baby! Didn't they feature the father in the editorial "Models and there Boyfriends?" Maybe not. It would be interesting to have an interview featuring the father and the mother just to get a full viewpoint of what is really going on. Maybe even Jourdans mother! I do understand Ellies point on the whole model life after a baby but did your mother become not so nice after she had a child? Or anyones mother? I think she will absolutely love being a mother and still be able to be that sweet, charming girl.
yeah but I have insider sources who work in the fashion industry who have already confirmed this for me...it's just that her agencies are keeping it in the down low

I was so sad when I first realized it's true.
But putting it that way I guess alleviates some of my disappointment.
Jourdan has to be one of the nicest girls I've ever seen in the industry and she is definately someone destined for more special things.
