Uh…what a great idea, why don’t we all ruin our expensive handbags! Brb while I paint my Chanel 2.55.

What do you guys think? Creative or plain idiocy?

These days lookbook=tragic

UPDATE: Kasia here. I read this in the comments:

So, the guy who painted the bag claims to have never seen the "Karl Who?" bags until after.

Yeah... right.

I'd do it with an Louis bag. But I dunno.

Ew. Those first shots are so obnoxious. I mean, that pose with the legs positioned like that is just such a horrible cliché, and why would you ever paint "Louis Who?" everyone knows what Louis Vuitton is. The whole point is that people don't know who the designers are behind these big fashion houses - everyone knows Chanel but not everyone knows who Karl Lagerfeld is. So, obviously it would make more sense to put "Marc Who?" considering that not everyone knows that Marc Jacobs has been the creative force behind Louis Vuitton for over ten years.

I think painting on a bag is fine, as long as you have some sort of message to send out.

I agree, Kasia; "Marc Who?" would be cooler. It's sort of reminescent of the Stephen Sprouse collection, and totally like "Karl Who?".

I guess I would do it (if it wasn't my only louis or something), but I'd be so scared I'd smudge it or ruin it or mess up.

I agree with the last 2 comments..
I think "Stephane" is obnoxious. And I honestly I think his ideaa is kind of dry... kind of like over-telling a joke. But I think "Marc Who?" would be very cute. :)

I have a Karl Who t-shirt, thank you very much 0.o
And now they're selling Karl Who tees/bags for $60... what?? I did it for $10.
