Sunday Night Bash/ Fashion Challenge
Okay,
I am really ignorant sometimes. So I googled “London time” and realized that it is already night time on the other hemisphere.
So I decided to get things started a little early so that our friends at the other side of the pond can join in on the fun before going to bed.
And here’s the challenge/theme.
Show me your vampire alter ego.
One casual and one formal. Both have to be suitable only for night because duh! vampires melt when they see daylight.
Link us looks from style.com or polyvore or wherever. Give us an idea of a look you want to achieve. I’ll post the pictures as soon as I can. And a note…boys, there is also a men.style.com if you’d rather use men’s looks.
And we will also tell you if we would let you bite us based on the ferocity of your outfits.
I’ll start.
R1ma
Casual, formal and all worn with my bloodsucking booties.
And when I am in a killing mood.
Nojarama from Gossip Guy of Stardoll
Casual and formal Balmain.
Kasia:
My casual outfit is a black Givenchy dress, and my formal is Le Smoking by Yves Saint Laurent. Both looks will be worn with those Marc Jacobs for Louis Vuitton platforms, and the blood red lipstick and black leather hairpiece from Stefano Pilati for Yves Saint Laurent's latest collection.
Ciaraleanne from many blogs (lol just check her page) and Stardoll's Most Wanted...
Casual and formal- Inspired by Alexander McQueen and John Galliano.
Chickapoo_8 from Chickapoo_8 and 5*Star
Wylie1995
I could not decide between the Victor and Rolf dress or the Rodarte dress for my casual look. Which do you think would be better for my grocery shopping? It may give something for the paparazzi to gawk at! I also used Givenchy for my formal look. But this was from the Couture collection. The Yves Saint Laurent shoes are supposed to be paired with the Givenchy dress. The Givenchy reminds me of the Adams family! The makeup is perfect on Victor and Rolf for both outfits.
Camille from The Young Artist's Blog
Casual and Formal
Clare/ Cltreanor from breathless.magazine/ breathless.magaz... and Fab Fashion
I have just finished my blood thirsty looks.
My Casual vampire style has a mixture of inspirations from Louis Vuitton to Chanel Fall 2009, I didn't focuses on any one in particular just the styles and what felt dark and vampire like to me
My Formal was also very dark with a twist of oddity and akwardness.
I was very much inspired by many of Gareth Pugh's creations, but once again all slightly mingled into one

WOW! Everyone is so creative and dark! :-)
lol i love how fashion works on so many levels!
Love your outfit Camille! Both of them!
Nojarama- It makes so much sense to use Balmain! Most of their clothes are quite dark.
Kasia- I sometimes wonder if Tisci designs for vampires b/c besides all the cruifixes, his designs are very vampy! And what genius with the Le Smoking. I'm hitting myself on the head for not thinking of that!
Ciaraleanne-I could see traces of Alexander McQueen and Galliano. Good job layering them!
and the hair and make up are very vamp gorgeous!
Chickapoo_8-OMG girl...I knew you would come up with something good! This is so quintisential vampire! I love it! Very romantic! I'd definately let you bite me hehe. Nice touch with the umbrella too!
Wylie 1995-hehe I love that you used the new Givenchy couture piece and the Rodarte/V&R...they look like something a trendy vamp would wear.
Camille-WOW! Very fashion forward/ futuristic vampire! I love it! Like the make up and styling are already there! The YSL isn't too flashy for casual while the rodarte is just so BLOODY awesome! Very nice finds!
I have just finished my blood thirsty looks.

I love this theme.
Clare- that is just above and beyond! You are always so good with graphics and with creating fabulous inspired by outfits. The Chanel was very unexpected and incredibley pleasing! I love how you combined these inspirations into making something original and truly your own.
Rima thank you so much, your comments really mean so much to me, I really admire your knowledge with fashion and pure talent for unique style, everything you write in this blog is so professional.
I often doubt myself and never feel I do good enough in anything, so seriously your comments are more than appreciated, I'm flattered
xxxxxx
LolI feel the same way too, except with your blog! I love it and I read it everyday. I aspire to be as organized and as concise as it is one day.
:-)
aww I feel all mushy now. Girl/ fashion/ blog power!
I know it is not my place to butt in to your conversation, Rima and Clare but I have to! Rima you are too kind to say something like that and comment on EVERYBODIES outfits. You took the time to have this great idea put into action. I am glad I could come and show my outfit and look at everyone elses. everyone had such creative ideas! Especially Clare and Camille! Of course our lovely hostess had a beautiful outfit (loved the shoes) and everyone elses was absolutely beautiful. Clare! You should never be thinking the way that you were! Your blog is amazing and so are every single one of your creations! I cannot wait for next Sunday and to find out the next theme! Great idea Rima, you are so creative and your knowledge of fashion amazes me! I wish I could have that kind of knowledge one day!
Aw, thank you Rima! It was so much fun picking the looks! I wanted some sort of little black dress, and the Givenchy one just stuck out to me. Although it's little, there is something severe and dramatic about it. And, that Le Smoking photograph kind of just reminded of dracula in a way. Haha!
I loved your outfits so much too. Lily looks like a vampire in that Givenchy gown! Perfect choice. :)
I am so glad everyone had fun! :-) I had loads of fun too!
I´m waiting next week to do my outfit!
Awesome inspirations!
