Around 5 p.m. today Milan local time, Donatella Versace will unveil her spring 2010 collection, but she passed on a few sketches—and the inspirations behind them—to us for a sneak peek. Versace is thinking Alice in Wonderland, but she has given it a rewrite that Lewis Carroll couldn’t possibly have imagined, lending Alice a baroque spin that results in, she says, “fantasy meeting prints that are mixed up and layered like dreams, in a megamix of swirling optical and micro patterns. . . .” Expect the look to be short, tight, asymmetric, and sparkling with that iconic House of Versace chain mail. . . .

Lily Donaldson opened while Chanel Iman closed. Abbey Lee Kershaw opened and closed.

wow, i LOVE LOVE LOVE Versace!
Her mix of materials are great.
This collection's backdrop seems way more lackluster, therefore making the clothes seem... cheap.
I enjoy the flashing lights, and glossy catwalks of past seasons.
But... I reside in Kentucky. The most glam here is pageants, and a little sparkle neevvverrr hurts there! hahahaha.
Karlie!
Okay i don't know about the rest of the readers but Karlie looks so good there!
