Lyndsey Scott by Ben Hassett in "Double Vision" for W September 2010
Spoiler Alert! Victoria’s Secret 2009 Show
The full show will air on December 1, but we already have the full inside scoop.
Since most of the “fashion” in this show can be considered tacky, I guess I choose to focus on the girls instead.
But yay! Some of our favorite high fashion models made the show! They are getting the money!
This show was quite a monumental historical event since this is the first time that an Asian model has walked for the runway. Liu Wen has that honor.
Also in this show is where Anna Jagodzinska returned to the runway after missing the spring 2010 shows. It is apparent that she now has a more curvy figure. Perhaps this is why she skipped the season? Whatever the case, she looked stunning and womanly on the catwalk (especially compared to fellow Polish, Anja Rubik—who did not look half bad, despite looking extremely emaciated and tanorexic).
This years show had five themes consisting of an average of 12 looks: Star Trooper, All Aboard, Pink Planet, Enchanted Forest and Romantic Journey. Here are the girls who had looks for each theme.
| Star Trooper | All Aboard | Pink Planet | Enchanted Forest | Romantic Journey |
| Alessandra Ambrosio | Doutzen Kroes | Behati Prinsloo | Heidi Klum | Isabeli Fontana |
Now lets see how well our favorite high fashion girls translated to this more commercial, high-profile runway.

Prada Spring 2010 Surprises
Three things with the first two having to do with casting.
First. Guess who opened?
Lindsey Wixson (aka Brianne’s girl lol.) She apparently shot with Meisel a few months ago. Haters fall back.
Second. There were three not-white girls at the show.
Lyndsey Scott was a Calvin Klein exclusive and snagged a spot in the DKNY fall 2009 campaign. Walking for Baby Phat may have killed things for her, but girl went and surprised us all by walking for Prada!
Then there were two asian girls. Liu Wenn and Shu Pei. I believe Liu had two looks I believe? They now join Hye Park and Jenny Shimizu in the Asian Prada hall of fame.
and lastly, the clothes.
"Prada is made for LA--palm tree and beach scene photo prints on silk jackets and shorts, and jeweled jelly shoes."
"Clear chandelier shoes (and dresses), low ponytails and glossy red lips at Prada. Oh and the beach- printed on mini shorts & tops"
PS: There was no Sasha Pivs or Ymre Steikema
