Anna Wintour on the Next Vogue Cover

So will we be seeing more models and less celebrities on the cover of Vogue?
Well, tomorrow is another day. We'll never know. But we certainly do have a model tied to the next issue, yes.

Sure…how about the month after that?

Maybe I am too spoiled by French Vogue’s sophistication or Italian Vogue’s pages upon pages of high fashion editorial, but American Vogue is just…

You know what, Anna, I don’t really care anymore.  If on the news stand I had to choose between Elle or Vogue, I’d probably choose Elle. At least they don’t pretend to be something that they no longer are.

Your omission of Alaia from the Met exhibit and from Vogue pages in the last 15 years, was the last nail in the coffin.  It is official Anna Wintour.  You are dead to me.

Read more of Anna’s appearance and interview at 92nd Street Y last night here.

I love Vogue. You know, it's not ALL about the covers. The articles in American Vogue are fantastic, and as much as I love getting foreign Vogues, it's nice to actually be able to understand the language that the articles are written in. Haha! You're right though, it would be nice to see more models on the covers, but I still love Vogue.
