This was taken at the Spring 2008 Fendi show. You can see Lily's skeletal back.

You see what Lily was wearing at the Spring 2008 Lanvin show...

Now, this picture is from backstage at the Lanvin Spring 2008 show. You see that tiny emaciated creature in the bottom corner? That's Lily.

Now, I'd hate to state something that wasn't true about someone. But, I mean, there was clearly something wrong here.

Compare when she was just starting out to that, and you'll see that this is what the industry does to people.

Remember though, those pictures were taken during the Spring 2008 season. At the Fall 2009 Versace show, Sarah Mower made a comment that Lily looked a bit more curvy. I really hope so.

Lets pray that she is better, and stronger now. Lily is perhaps one of the most photogenic people in the world. There isn't one photograph where she doesn't look incredible. Models like Gemma and Raquel are absolutely beyond beautiful, but they don't always photograph as well as Lily does. It really saddens me to see those pictures.

She looks dead. Look at the frail skin and the weary expression on her face.

Being too thin is not okay!

Lily at Belstaff Spring 2007. She looks beautiful. Not too thin.

Lily at Christian Dior Spring 2008. Spring 2008 was clearly a low point for Lily.

Lily now. Of course she's still very thin, but she looks much healthier, no? She has life in her face.

I remember when this kind of contriversy surrounded Kate Moss at the peak of her career.

When you are a high demand model, flying to that shoot in France and Brail, running arounds tents during fashion week, it can take a toll on your weight...and you might not have a chance to eat or take care of yourself.

Lily looks like one of those girls I know in real life who have incredibley small frames to begin with...maybe we should give her the benefit of the doubt; June 17, 2009 at 10:51 AM
