They're not THAT similar... :S God, it seams like everyone is convinced that Nicolas is a copier :S When I watched the Balenciaga Fall 2009 video, they said that he took inspiration from Yves' work, so perhaps both Tom and Nicolas both looked through the YSL archives and took inspiration from the same piece of work by Yves Saint Laurent and that's why their collections are a bit similar?
nah...all designers do what he did...remember when Marc copied that vintage argyle sweater in that Louis V documentary? So I don't really find it offensive or surprising.

but the look is there. The velvet, the lace bra, the sash, and the tights.
I know, I know. :( Nicolas has a history of this, have you heard about that jacket from his pre-fall (or resort?) collection?
