Model Daul Kim was found dead in Paris this morning, her agents at Next confirm. "She was a top model and a great friend to all of us at Next. Please respect her family’s privacy at this time of sadness. We will all miss her very much," they said in a statement. The cause of death remains unknown at this time but a source tells the Cut the 20-year-old committed suicide. She will be missed.
This is such shocking news. I don’t even know where to begin. Daul was just one of those people who were so bright and full of life and for her to commit suicide is just incomprehensible. She even has a blog and the day before her death, she posted a cute video.
She will be terribly missed.
I will always remember Daul as the smart, outspoken, bubbly, cooky girl who read Tolstoy and hung out with Karlie and Ali from this video.

Rest in peace Dal Kim...
It feels really shocking to me, a few days ago I said to myself that she's beautiful and that I don't know much about her and looked at editorials of her and thinking how beautiful she is.
I'm looking at pictures of her not from magazines and stuff, the pictures she took of her then new haircut in her home or something, and for some weird reason I feel like I know her and loved her personally.
I can't explain that, I tend not to feel that way when people who I've never met or knew personally died.
I just had to post this when I saw it on nymag.com. Feel free to add more images, videos, etc. to the post. Again, such a beautiful girl. Rest in peace.
I hate this. I was just starting to love her. This makes me feel so queasy.
