Wow

Ok, how come nobody told me about this? Agyness Deyn wore a black version of one of my favorite dresses from my favorite collection! My love for Agyness is surely re-growing.

Marc Jacobs Fall 2008.

It's funny because some people call Marc Jacobs the Andy Warhol of our generation, and some people have called Agyness Deyn the Edie Sedgwick.
Farah

Farah Fawcett by Andy Warhol
Farah Fawcett, one of the biggest icons of American pop culture is currently fighting a very serious battle with cancer. I got a chance to watch the end of her documentary "Farah's Story" which aired on NBC tonight, and I teared up from just the few minutes I had seen. And I must say I do not cry a lot. Towards the end, from what I saw, they showed more of what condition Farah was in at this moment. They didn't really show her physical appearance in depth, but you saw that she was resting in bed. From prison, her son Redmond who, at age 23, has struggled with a very serious drug addiction was able to visit her. He crept into the bed to lye beside her, "I don't know who this is" Farah exclaimed. "I love you" she said soon after. Red lay there beside her "Mommy" he said before he started to cry. Then, this mother and her child, both struggling, were able to go back. Back to the simple moments years ago.
It is said that Farah had written a note that says "I've lived a full and wonderful life. I've loved and been loved. I'm happy. I'm ready."
I know that hope is fading, but it's important to keep it present.
