Rodarte For Target

From Proenza Schouler to Alexander McQueen and now Anna Sui - it seams as though some of fashion's most successful high-end designers have teamed up with Target to create limited edition collections that are mass-produced  and sold to the mainstream.

Now, behold, Target's next collaboration coming this winter...

RODARTE

When Rodarte started, it took a while for people to adjust to their unique design style. Now, Rodarte is one of the biggest new labels, having won this years CFDA Award for womenswear, and receiving rave reviews from numerous editors and fashionistas. Rodarte has even developed a cult following amongst celebrities.

Rodarte's head designers Kate and Laura Mulleavy's 55-piece winter collection for Target will hit stores in December.

I am not quite sure how this will translate.

The thing about rodarte is their technique and their innovative use of unique materials. I don't know how they can qiite achieve that with cheaper fabrics and mass production.

W/e...I'll wait and see before judge.
