“A dream come true” That’s what Bregje Heinen calls her appointment as al Angel of the American brand Victoria’s Secret. The 19 year old model officially joins the likes of Doutzen Kroes and Miranda Kerr. In 2011 the Borculo born model walked the fashion show of the popular label and she appeared next to Candice Swanepoel in the "Fabulous Bra" commercial.

Being an Angel is a big step in the career of a model, it opens a lot of doors”, according to her agent Micha Krijger of Micha Models.

Bregje Heinen is the 11th Angel of the brand, alongside Adriana Lima, Doutzen Kroes, Candice Swanepoel, Lindsey Ellingson, Alessandra Ambrosio, Miranda Kerr, Erin Heatherton, Chanel Iman, Behati Prinsloo and Lily Aldridge. It is a crown on the career of the down to earth Dutchy. Besides her new role as lingerie ambassador she is also featured in the new Maroon 5 music video. In a few months Bregje will make her debut as Angel in the new Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show.

Rocha turned up at last night’s WGSN Global Fashion Awards in New York with middle-parted strands that were tinted a ruddy chestnut. It’s subtle, but could signal a bigger transition to come (these things take time, you know). Which hue do you think works best for her?"

Elsa is from Stockholm and as a kid she used to spend many nights in a tent in contact with nature and the silence of Nordic woods. Now that she is a model and travels from one big metropolis to the next, she misses that relaxing feeling.

And, although living in New York can’t really be seen as a negative aspect of one’s career, there are times when “life in a big city can truly be an extreme experience”. For Elsa, the Big Apple is also a place where she can enjoy brief daily adventures that awaken the explorer that is in her. It’s therefore no coincidence that it is in New York where she pictures her future or at least setting up a place to call home.

She was scouted at the age of 18 in a big theme park in Stockholm called Grona Lund. The following year, at only 19, she walked her first runway in Paris for a fashion giant, Givenchy. Given the promising start, her career couldn’t but be destined to a glorious future.

Perfect features, sculpted cheekbones and almost painted-like eyebrows, she has a sweet and very feminine attitude which makes her look almost like a child.

Extremely versatile on the catwalk, she can be a sophisticated lady, a rebellious punk or an icy cyborg which makes her a very sought-after model by the most diverse designers. She enjoys being a model and takes the best of what this job has to offer without deceiving herself into believing that she will be able to model forever although she is still very young. That’s why she is not putting all her eggs in one basket and continues being interested and involved in politics and international business.

When she grows up, she would love to work in education. Although, given the chance, she would very happily be a farmer with a farmhouse and lots of animals. “My aunt used to have a farm and when I was a kid I used to visit her every week. I think how amazing it would be to have a few cows, plenty of dogs and cats, some horses to ride but most of all many puppies all around the house.”

She loves Asia and would like to travel through India by bike or meander around China. At the end of the way, be it in New York or in Paris, she is always riding a bike. “The bike makes me feel free as a bird; the fresh air on my face is enough to give me happiness”. Besides, like a true tomboy, she can ply football incredibly well.

She has been gracing the advertising campaigns of D&G, Balenciaga, Benetton and Sportmax and walked the runway for the likes of Chanel, Lanvin, Louis Vuitton, Marc Jacobs, Nina Ricci, Proenza Schouler, Zac Posen as well as Valentino, Christian Lacroix, Vivienne Westwood, Chloé, Giambattista Valli, DSquared, Roberto Cavalli, Armani Privé and Erdem.

Needless to say, she has appeared on many prestigious magazines’ covers including Elle, Muse, Harper’s Bazaar, Marie Claire Italia, Numéro, French Revenue de Modes and V as well featuring on editorials for Harper’s Bazaar and W. She has been photographed by Steven Meisel, Patrick Demarchelier, Craig McDean, Claudia Knoepfel and Stephane Gallois.

Considered one of the most sought-after models, in the fashion business she is nicknamed Adina thanks to her resemblance to model Adina Fohlin.

During the past year, Coco Rocha easily earned the title of the most web savvy model, considering the major attention she shows to both her Facebook and Twitter accounts, as well as securing her presence on Tumblr. Coco regularly shares intimate moments from her daily life with her fans through the platforms - including cinematic films of her wedding and fun behind the scenes pictures and details.

Now she’s upping her social stamp, with a brand new website! Coco just launched CocoRocha.com, a fresh site which covers her 7 years in the modeling industry, complete with 44 videos, each of her 72 international covers, and almost 10,000 images to share with her 37,000 Facebook fans and almost 70,000 Twitter followers. It has been a long time since we didn't see Elsa at the caltwalks & magazines. Well, after a big drama she's back on the Fall 2011 runways and editorials.

I missed her a lot because she's so darling and funny. We all thought that she could probably had abandoned the modeling but that wasn't true. She just got a new representation with OUI management since she isn't with her mother agency Viva Paris & DNA. Don't forget that we all noticed her extremely skinny body the last 2010 season and now she looks more healthy so you know what I'm trying to say.

After her quit of modeling, her first appearance was on Armani Privé S/S 2011 couture show and then Valentino.

Then she did some shows in Stockholm and finally she did the Fall 2011 season being a Balenciaga exlcusive (I loved the collection), and walking for top shows such as Cacharel, Emanuel Ungaro, Givenchy, Loewe, Louis Vuitton & Nina Ricci. I missed her at Lanvin, she's one of Alber's favorite girls.
